Description: A group of four police constables outside Deptford main police station is joined by a fifth policeman. Groups of policemen emerge from the station, two riding past on bicycles. A portrait shot of one constable with a walrus moustache. People at the fête, in the grounds of Goldsmiths' College, playing at the various sideshows or having tea. They include convalescent soldiers in hospital blues. The parade goes past the town hall and through the streets, the floats including a crusade tableau, a mock aeroplane and tank, and the Boy Scouts, all supervised by Army officers. Back at the fête a conjuror demonstrates a trick and more games are played at the sideshows, one involving a caricature of the Kaiser, "Come and Nail Kaiser Bill". Finally a posed group of the organisers, among them some in pierrot costume.
